It was these joyful moments that inspired me to name my cake business Cakes & Bakes by Corky—a nickname given to me by my family that has stuck with me to this day.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I’ve had the privilege of honing my craft in some of the most renowned pastry kitchens, including those at the Star Gold Coast. This extensive background has not only refined my techniques but also deepened my appreciation for the artistry involved in creating exceptional desserts. Each day spent in these high-calibre environments has been a journey of continuous learning and innovation, shaping my expertise in crafting confections that are as delightful to the eyes as they are to the palate.
